Who we are
This website and associated campaign activity are run by the Fiona Moinuddin Campaign, supporting Fiona’s community and political work in Manchester city centre, as the person who is selected to be Labour's local election candidate for Piccadilly Ward in May 2026.

What data we collect
Depending on how you interact with the campaign, we may collect:
- Your name
- Your postal address including postcode
- Your email address
- Support for Fiona's campaigns and feedback
- Voting intention
- Any other information you choose to share with us when signing up, contacting us, or supporting a campaign
We only collect what we need and never collect more information than is necessary.
How we use your data
If you choose to engage with Fiona’s campaign (for example by signing a petition, joining a mailing list or responding “YES” to receive updates), we may use your information to:
- Support and deliver specific local campaigns or petitions
- Submit petitions or representations to Manchester City Council or local decision-makers
- Send you occasional updates about campaign progress, events or activity
- Keep records of local support to help Fiona campaign effectively in the community
- Send you specific communication in relation to your interests or political priorities
We will never sell your data or use it for commercial purposes.
Lawful basis for processing
We process your personal data under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(a) – your consent.
By opting in, replying “YES”, or submitting your details through this website, you are giving clear consent for us to contact you for the purposes described.
How long we keep your data
We will keep your information:
- For as long as the relevant campaign or activity is active
- And for up to 12 months afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner
- You can withdraw consent at any time.
Sharing your data
Your personal data will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary to deliver campaign communications (for example, our email service provider, or decision-makers if it is a petition, and in that case we will be explicit that will be the case). Any such providers are required to keep your data secure and confidential.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Ask for your data to be corrected or deleted
- Restrict or object to how your data is processed
- Withdraw your consent at any time
