About Fiona Moinuddin
A Commitment to Manchester
I live in Manchester with my husband, I am the mother to two wonderful daughters, and our cockapoo, Annie, who firmly believes every park in the city belongs to her. We call Angel Meadow home, a neighbourhood with a powerful history, huge potential and a strong sense of community. I’m proud to serve on the Friends of Angel Meadow group, campaigning alongside neighbours for a greener, safer and more welcoming place to live.
Like so many people in the city centre, I see every day what works and what doesn’t. Rents and management fees rising while services don't get better. Green space disappearing whilst new towers are built. Streets that don’t always feel clean or safe. Developments that feel designed for profit, not for people. That’s why I’m stepping forward to fight for a better city centre: one with real green spaces, genuinely affordable and social housing, cleaner and safer streets, and strong, connected communities.
I believe Manchester should work for the people who live here. This campaign is about standing up for our neighbourhoods, backing each other, and building a city that feels like home, not just somewhere people pass through.
